How to look amazingly beautiful with my easy Model beauty routine
My model beauty routine which I do in the morning as an international model.
With this routine I prepare myself before shootings and the fashion week.
I’m starting my day by refreshing and cleaning the body inside and outside.
My model beauty routine in the morning – only 10 steps:

#1 Cold water in your face
I go to the bathroom and splash my face with ice cold water.
This lifts up your whole face and will awaken you quickly 😉
#2 Oil pulling
For my inside cleansing I do oil pulling with coconut oil just for 2 minutes.
It refreshes your mouth directly and cleanses your mouth from toxins.
After this I will spit the oil out into a trash (otherwise the oil may block up your drain)
#3 Warm water with lemon
I drink a cup of warm lemon water on an empty stomach.
The lemon will act as a detoxifying agent, promotes digestion and increases your metabolic rate.
Lemon will also help to remove acidity and toxins out of your body.
The warm water is important because it will stimulate the liver and the digestion. (Cold water would shut it down)
So it’s a natural cleaning drink for your inside as well as your skin – outside.
#4 Read, meditate & workout
Afterwards I’m doing my body and face workouts, I read and meditate to be calm and centered and mentally ready for my day.
#5 Body brushing
Before taking a shower I do a dry body brushing.
I use a body brush from The Body Shop.
(The best brush should be natural not synthetic and should have an attached handle for reaching every corner of your body.
The bristles themselves should be stiff, though not too hard.
You should brush gently.)
It will remove dead skin, increases the blood flow and helps your lymphatic system release toxins.
The result will be a much smoother, glowing and healthier skin.
Most important is the direction of your brushing.
Do it only towards your heart.
Make long sweeps and avoid circular, back and forth or scrubbing motions.
Start at your feet moving up the legs all around the legs on both sides.
Then brush each arm towards your chest.
After the arms go to your stomach and do it anticlockwise.
Don’t brush too hard.
The last area is the back.
Brush upwards towards your heart.
The skin should only be stimulated and not red.
#6 Body scrub
Then I first take a warm shower and before shaving I love to do a body scrub a few times a week.
I love to use sea salt/sugar together with coconut oil a scrub.
Mix the two ingredients until you have a thick paste.
I mostly use it for my legs and also massage it towards my heart.
This also helps removing dead skin and toxins from your body.
Plus you will have wonderful glowing and shining legs afterwards.
(So your body lotion is already included in your shower)
Very important is that you don’t use this scrub on your face, because the skin is too sensitive and thin.
#7 Cold shower
At the end of my shower and after shaving I turn the water to ice cold.
I learned from Wim Hof (the iceman) that ice cold water will help you to become calm if you master it to breath slowly during shower and you will directly be in the moment.
You can’t think of anything else rather than the cold.
To start with this method I do it for 30 seconds and rinse the icy water over my whole body excluding my head
(after time you can increase the duration as well as adding the head to the routine)
The cold water refines hair and skin, improves immunity and circulation.
It speeds up muscles soreness and recovery, that’s great after a workout!
And it’s also good for your mental health as it releases stress and relieves depression symptoms
-> an awesome mood booster as well 😊
#8 Ice cube
Not cold enough 😉
Now for my face I use an ice cube.
(Other days I use the ice cold water in the shower.)
I massage my whole face with the ice cube and this directly releases all the puffiness.
You will look awake instantly – believe me 😉 .
#9 Face cream
Then I apply my favorite face cream with my palms.
Right now, I’m using a natural face cream which is enriched with oxygen from VIA NOVA .
I tap the cream into the whole face with my fingers, always in an upward-moving direction.
So my skin can absorb the cream better. Also important to say. I try to only use cream before jobs.
I also make days when I’m free where I don’t apply any product to my face or body.
So my skin doesn’t depend on the external cream and also produces the moisture and the nutrients for the skin itself.
With this in mind your skin will be longer vital.
#10 Natural tooth paste
Last but not least.
I brush my teeth with a natural tooth paste.
Right now I’m using the rathania tooth paste from Weleda.
There you don’t have any fluoride or any other synthetic ingredients.
And I’m ready for my day, shooting and runway =)
As you guys might notice, I loooove natural ingredients for my food and my cosmetics.
So I mostly use organic, health beneficial products.
I also do a lot of cosmetics myself. (e.g. body scrub, drinks, deodorant, perfumes)
But I also love to discover new products which are healthy and beneficial for you.
This routine is like the ultimate things I’m doing in the morning.
If I have less time I skip some.
